What is a Case Competition?

Founded by the Global Management Students' Association (GMSA), the International Business Case Competition provides a platform for delegates with a passion for global business to solve intellectually stimulating issues related to a comprehensive business case.

As a two-day annual conference, delegates in respective teams can strengthen problem-solving, communication, case analysis, and professional skills. Delegates can forge new connections through interactions with other teams, judges, and social functions. The case competition will foster over 100+ delegates from various backgrounds. The GMSA is committed to creating unforgettable and worthwhile experiences, and we are confident in our ability to do so. Participating delegates will have the chance to access a pool of prize money if advancing to the respective finalist stage, add a new milestone to your professional CV and have a chance to network with seasoned industry professionals.

1 Each team must consist of up to four or five delegates in an undergraduate program in any university/collage located across Canada. Teams will be selected to enter this competition. Not all teams will be chosen to pass the selection round. The registration fee is priced at a per-person basis of $50, including tax, teams must include a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 5 persons. To enter the selection process, teams are required to fill out an interest form and submit various details and reasons for partaking in this competition. Teams are not required to pay to file an interest form.

Once the team is selected after carefully reviewing all interest forms, a payment request will be sent out. Each team must elect one member to make the payment on behalf of the team. Payments are nonrefundable*.

3 Once all payments are complete, teams will receive a confirmation of attendance and tickets. Tickets will give teams access to various cash prizes of the competition, including delegate bags, cash prizes, and much more. Our team will send information throughout the period till the commencement of the event. Teams must ensure that all emails sent out are reviewed in a timely manner.
